bgicons - maintain icons on the desktop background
SSSSYYYYNNNNOOOOPPPPSSSSIIIISSSS
bbbbggggiiiiccccoooonnnnssss ----iiiiccccoooonnnnddddbbbb _i_c_o_n_d_b [ ----iiiinnnnppppuuuuttttffffiiiilllleeee _i_n_p_u_t_f_i_l_e ]

_b_g_i_c_o_n_s maintains icons on the desktop background by comparing its notion
of the system stored in _i_c_o_n_d_b with the new state of the system from
_i_n_p_u_t_f_i_l_e. If the ----iiiinnnnppppuuuuttttffffiiiilllleeee argument is not specified, the new state of
the system is read from standard input.
_i_n_p_u_t_f_i_l_e is a text file containing lines of serialized DNA. _i_c_o_n_d_b is
maintained by _b_g_i_c_o_n_s; the first time _b_g_i_c_o_n_s is run for a particular
_i_c_o_n_d_b, it is expected that _i_c_o_n_d_b will not exist. _i_c_o_n_d_b should not be
edited by any program other than _b_g_i_c_o_n_s; otherwise _b_g_i_c_o_n_s will not
function properly.
_b_g_i_c_o_n_s works by creating an icon on the background for each object in
_i_n_p_u_t_f_i_l_e that is not in _i_c_o_n_d_b, and removing the icon on the background
for each object in _i_c_o_n_d_b that is not in _i_n_p_u_t_f_i_l_e.
